Raila Odinga has said that there was no point in his father speaking out on the vice.

Through his Twitter account,  Junior argued there was no point for the ODM party leader to speak since the cases were being investigated.

"Why are people looking for Raila Odinga when the scandals themselves are unraveling and being investigated? What benefit would it be for him to talk?" wrote Junior.

His message led to mixed reactions from Kenyans who had wondered why Raila was silent.

In the past, Raila has been on the forefront to condemn corruption scandals during President Uhuru's first term in office.

The government has been hit with scandals at the National Youth Service and the National Cereals and Produce Board.
