Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards continued with their impressive pre-season campaign after mauling National Super League (NSL) side Bidco United 2-0 in a match staged at the Thika Municipal Stadium on Saturday.New signing Erick Bekoe Kwabena opened his scoring account for Ingwe after curling in a beautiful chip on the tenth minute to give Leopards the much-deserved lead.Another newcomer, Jeffery Okaka put matters behind reach for the Bidco side after firing home the second goal in the 25th minute. The win comes barely a day after Ingwe walloped a sorry Gatanga FC 11-0 in another encounter staged in Kiambu county.Apart from participating in the annual Kenya Premier League, Leopards will also be taking part in the Confederation of African Football (Caf) championships slated for February.Head coach Robert Matano has maintained that the club will continue with the friendlies in a bid to boost their capability and also to give the new signings an opportunity to get along with the regulars.Among the new signings that Matano has since acquired include former Gor Mahia midfielder Collins Okoth 'Gatusso', Kwabena, Okaka, Prince Arko, Joseph Kuria, Baker Lukooya, Jairus Adira, Marvin Omondi, Henry Uche, Ramadhan Kibarango and Isaac Oduro.Ingwe opens their 2018 campaign against bitter rivals Gor Mahia for the KPL curtain raiser before meeting Posta Rangers for their league opener a week later.
