NASA's plans to inaugurate Raila Odinga as People's President has continued to further split the coalition with a section of MPs opposing the idea.

Already, inauguration committee has set January 30th for the exercise which will be held in Nairobi's Uhuru Park.

"Our swearing-in plans remain intact and everything is ready. We shall traverse the country in coming weeks to give more updates," said Oduor Ong'wen .

But a section of MPs from Gusii have vehemently opposed the plans claiming that the move will further split the country.

Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka insisted that he recognizes President Uhuru Kenyatta and remained non committal on the swearing-in.

"We can only have one president at a time and that is Uhuru. This doesn't mean that we do njot have issues that should be addressed," he said.

His West Mugirango counterpart Vincent Kemosi said: "Such plans will further split the country. I do not see the essence of the swearing-in."

Also opposed to the plans are Ben Momanyi (Borabu) and Sylvanus Osoro of South Mugirango, both who attended the press conference that was presided over by Onyonka.

A section of Gusii residents leaning to NASA have taken the war to social media, accusing the legislators of being Jubilee moles in NASA.
