A man aged 55 years attacked his wife and daughter for sleeping with same man.
The incident happened on Sunday at Nyamarambe, South Mugirango constituency Kisii County.
Residents said the man identified as Kiriago, picked a quarrel with his wife and daughter after they slept at the other man’s house on Saturday night.
“Kiriago returned home on Saturday evening from Trans Mara where he works when his wife and daughter left the house to sleep at the neighbor’s house under unclear reasons.
"On Sunday morning he went to pick them up from the neighbors house where he found them sleeping in the same bed naked,” said Maureen Oganyo.
Mrs. Oganyo said the man picked a metal rod which he used to beat the wife and daughter injuring them severely.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Boaz Moreru confirmed the incident and said the man had a disagreed with his wife before she left with her daughter to sleep at their neighbor’s house who is not married.
“Mr. Kiriago is violent something that forced his wife and daughter to leave the house when he returned home from work.
"We are investigating under which circumstances the daughter and her mother slept in the same bed with their neighbor before detailed information over the attack,” said Moreru.
