A middle-aged man ran for his dear life after he was caught on the act with a married woman.
The incident happened on Tuesday in Iyabe, South Mugirango in Kisii County.
Witnesses said the man identified as Andrew Monayo was caught red-handed having sex with his friend’s wife in the bush.
“I had gone to the bush to fetch firewood when I heard some funny sounds from under a big tree. I immediately alerted 3 passersby who accompanied me to the scene. We were shocked to find Monayo and the woman identified as Maureen naked having sex,” said Mary Motari.
Edgar Ongeri said Monayo fled from the scene after he spotted them approaching where they were sleeping.
“Maureen is a wife to Monayo’s close friend. It is shameful for him to sleep in the bush with his friend's wife. He is lucky to have escaped otherwise we could have beaten him up without mercy,” said Ongeri.
Area assistant chief Alphonce Ong’uti confirmed the incident and said Monayo has not been seen at his home since then.
The chief said Moanyo is married with 2 kids but his wife has been complaining about his infidelity.
