A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife in Kangundo, Machakos County.

Confirming the incident, Kangundo OCS Morris Okul said the father of two was arrested at Joska area in Matungulu in company of his friends on Tuesday.

Okul said police had been relentlessly hunting on the man for stubbing his wife to death.

He spoke to this writer on the phone on Tuesday.

Okul said the suspect went into hiding after committing the act of crime and had been on the loose since then.

He said the man had been held at Kangundo Police Station and will be arraigned in court once investigations were concluded.
