George Kirubi, the husband, said he was aware that his wife was having an illicit affair with her nephew Bernard Chege.

Kirubi said the bible is against sexual sin and and those who commit it should not live.

“If it is true that those two had a sexual relationship… even the Bible is against that and the Bible says that people who engage in such sin are not supposed to be alive,” Kirubi said.

The soft spoken businessman said he had raised issues within the family over the deceased’s affair with his wife.

“Yes I complained to Wangui’s mother and sister as well as Chege’s mother—who is my late brother’s wife — that I do not want that relationship between Chege and Wangui,” said Kirubi.

Janet died after police shot at a vehicle she was in with her nephew at City Park.

Police said they knocked at the car but instead of the occupants rolling down the windows, they drove off.

When they sprayed bullets to it, it stopped and two adults, a male and female, were found half-naked with bullet wounds.

The woman was pronounced dead after arrival at the hospital.
