At a function in Kebirichi in Nyamira, Matiang'i further said he is 'human' thus prone to committing mistakes.

"The government needs everyone on board and that is a fact. We may have clashed but that is the nature of my job.

"I am human being and prone to making mistakes. If at all I have wronged anyone, kindly forgive me and let us build our country," said Matiang'i, who has been at loggerheads with opposition.

For weeks now, the tough speaking Cabinet Secretary has been subjected to criticism by both NASA and Jubilee leadership in Nyamira.

In a direct response to his critics, Matiang'i dared the Jubilee politicians to deport him to his ancestral Kisii County if they are in a 'position'.
