Speaking during an interview on NTV on Tuesday, the former MP dismissed Ruto's recent attack on Raila which has become the latest flashpoint to ignite the war of words between two political adversaries.

According to Ruto who was speaking on Sunday in his Nandi stronghold, the former Prime Minister lost the August 8 presidential contest, a sentiment which has irked Midiwo who said that Jubilee lost the election and that the Supreme Court ruling that invalidated President Uhuru Kenyatta's win confirmed that.

" Jubilee didn't win any elections and even Maraga ( Chief Justice) pronounced as much. They just stole elections. They didn't win elections. They stole it and stole it badly," said the former National Assembly Deputy Minority leader.

Midiwo's statement comes just a day after ODM-allied MPs sent a strong-worded message to the DP saying that he is his own enemy in his quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
