The Uhuru- Raila pact will affect DP Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022, says the National Resistance Movement (NRM-K) leader Miguna Miguna. The pact, termed as a game changer has affected not only DP Ruto, but anyone else who wishes to run for the 2022 presidential seat.
Miguna insists that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the NASA leader Raila Odinga changed the fate of Ruto’s 2022 fate. He said, “Let me say this for the sake of those who don’t know or are too dishonest to say so openly: William Samoei Ruto’s 2022 fate is sealed.”
He argued that the unity pact was in a bid to make sure that Ruto does not become the president in 2022. He said that the handshake was a shot from behind towards DP Ruto. He should forget about President Uhuru’s support come 2022 elections.
In his twitter handle on Tuesday, the Canadian barrister questioned DP Ruto’s leadership qualities. He wrote saying that a person who grabs poor people’s land for his own good is not fit to run a country.
The NRM-K leader Miguna Miguna, a harsh critic of President Uhuru’s Jubilee Government has vowed that he will make sure Ruto doesn’t become president as he claims in 2022.
