Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has responded after receiving an email threatening his life.

In a tweet, the vocal lawyer attached an email where the sender (hubbybear.stblack@gmail.com) warned him to stop insulting the President.

In the email written in Swahili , the sender stated, " Tuna kuonya, Usipo wacha kumtusi rais. Usifikirie hatuna watu mahala popote. Tunakuangalia..." This translates to, " We warn warn you, if you don't stop insulting the president. Don't think we don't have people everywhere. We are looking at you..."

Following the email, Miguna noted that he was not afraid and accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of being behind the threats.

"Death threats keep coming from the despotic duo Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.The NRM general and soldiers are fearless," he posted.

He also announced that he was ready to travel back to Kenya adding that his return date will be announced soon.

"I have put on my 5-Star NRM general's uniform. My return date will be announced soon. It's going to be the mother of all liberation wars," Miguna stated.
