National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist Miguna Miguna has hailed the alliance's lawmakers' latest move to sign affidavits in support of its leader Raila Odinga's planned inauguration.

In a statement on his Facebook page on Wednesday, Miguna said that the decision should act as a confirmation to the alliance's rivals and those  doubting the January 30 swearing-in that the event still stands.

''This is the time. No wobbling, waffling or cowardice. The People's President shall be sworn in come rain or high water,'' he wrote.

He said that the new step will as well aid the alliance in distinguishing its loyalists from moles who have secret dealings with the ruling Jubilee Party which is also the block's main rival.

''National Resistance Movement patriots, comrades and soldiers have drawn the red line on the sand and moles have no place to hide,'' he said.

The process which officially began on Wednesday is aimed at legally binding the members of National Assembly and Senators to the resolution of recognizing Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka as the people's President and Deputy President respectively.

The inauguration is however yet to be officiated with the alliance leadership yet to conclude on the issue.
