Speaking to journalists on Friday after his parliamentary election was upheld by a Mombasa court, Ali said that Joho is building castles in the air.

"Joho is going around claiming he wants to be the next President of Kenya but he will not succeed in doing so," stated the former KTN investigative journalist.

The lawmaker also accused the second-time of fighting him since he joined politics, saying that he is in for a rude shock."You have been trying to fight me and to finish my political career but God has not let that happen,'’ he added.

High Court judge Lydia Achode had dismissed a case challenging Ali’s win on the grounds that it lacked evidence. He also ordered the petitioner, Daniel Omondi, to pay Sh7 Million in costs.

In the meantime, Joho has said repeatedly that he will contest for the nation’s top seat. The governor is expecting to ride on his influence not only in the Coastal region but also entire nation to ascend to power.
