Moi University has been ranked top in Kenya by an international organisation of researchers.The Eldoret-based institution, according to Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, is 19 in Africa, making it the best in KenyaThe University of Capetown topped the list in Africa.Egerton University was ranked 23rd in Africa and second in Kenya. In the third position was Kenyatta University which was ranked at position 51 in the in Africa.JKUAT took the fourth position in Kenya but at position 67 in the continent while Maseno University was placed at the fifth position in the country and ranked 112 in the continent.“We are pleased with the latest ranking which indicates that our team is progressing well to make Moi University a world-class learning institution”, the university's public relations officer Nyongesa Wandera noted.
