Slightly a week after West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi backed President Uhuru Kenyatta's development record, more leaders have joined the bandwagon.
On Friday, President Uhuru Kenyatta retained Fred Matiang'i in his cabinet, a move that has received praises from a section of NASA leaders.
"Personally I have seen him transforming dockets where he has been entrusted and I support his nomination. Whether or not Jubilee will survive, that's a story for another day," said Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka.
Borabu's Ben Momanyi (Wiper) said: "This is a milestone for Gusii community and as a brother, I thank the president on his behalf."
Conspicuously, the two MPs have in the past been accused of being Jubilee sympathizers, a claim their have persistently denied.
Matiang'i was first appointed ICT minister in 2013 before being reshuffled to Education. And henceforth, he shall be Interior Coordination minister.
