Michelle Chepkoech, a 20 years old mother secured herself an unexpected appointment with the Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday in Baringo county.
The mother of five, who complained of abject poverty rocking her life, waded through a mammoth crowd of people listening to the speech of the DP who was launching Eldama Ravine Technical Institute, Makutano-Ravine road, and Skyline Sacco Plaza.
The stunned DP ordered his security agents to let her reach his podium where he issued her with an appointment date at his residential offices in Nairobi.
During his address, the DP called on the elected county leaders to foster unity and collaboration with a view to hasten the service delivery to the people.
The second in command was also crowned an elder by the Tugen Council who pledged the full backing for his presidential bid in 2022 elections.
