Bonchari constituency MP John Oyioka has been accused for 'selling' his constituents to Jubilee government.
Residents said the MP has betrayed them for being at the forefront meeting top Jubilee leaders yet he had promised that he will not support the Jubilee regime during last year’s campaigns.
“We have been sold by Oyioka to Jubilee government. His meeting with Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday at Ruto’s Karen home Nairobi shows that Oyioka has been given bribe to work with the Jubilee regime,” said Elijah Omweri.
Ronald Onsombi, Oyioka’s supporter said Oyioka has done the unexpected.
"We never expected Oyioka to be close with the Jubilee leaders. We supported him on the grounds that he supports NASA ideologies," he said.
On Thursday, Oyoka was among the nine Kisii County MPs who paid a courtesy call to DP William Ruto in his Karen home.
