Mwingi Central MP Dr Gideon Mulyungi has warned Jubilee government against disobeying court orders and using the police to intimidate politicians opposed to its rule.

Speaking to journalists in Mwingi Town on Saturday, Mulyungi said that Uhuru's administration is sending and creating wrong precedence by disobeying court orders.

The Wiper lawmaker said that the country risks slipping to anarchy if Jubilee administration continues to ignore court orders and encourage police impunity.

He said that the Judiciary is the last resory in conflict resolution and keeping order, adding that failure to respect the institution is trading on dangerous grounds.

The vocal Wiper MP said that as opposition they will not give Jubilee time and space to contravene the law.

"We are going to fight the Jubilee adminstration if it thinks that it will disobey court orders and intimidate politicians through unwarranted arrests," he said.

The MP asked the government to honour last week High court ruling order that declared self proclaimed NRM leader Miguna Miguna deportation illegal.

Mulyungi also warned the goverment against plans to arrest more politicians who took part in Raila Odinga's January 30 inauguration as the people's president.

President Kenyatta's goverment has been under criticism for allegedly disobeying court orders in the recent days.

Last week, High court judge Luka Kimaru declared Miguna Miguna's deportation illegal, null and void.

The court orderd the Immigration department to suredner Miguna's passport in court in the next seven days.

The government appealed the court ruling, saying that it was not in the interest of the country.
