A Nakuru politician has finally spoken after allegations emerged that his family had taken State House's and used them for their business.

On Saturday, Nakuru social media pages were awash with claims that the said family had 'stolen' the seats.

Nakuru County Education CEC Raymond Kimutai Komen refuted the claims that his family business had acquired the furniture and used them in their hotel.

Nakuru blogger Elijah Kinyanjui posted that he had spoken to Komen who rubbished the claims."In a phone interview, Komen confirmed however that police and some civilians yesterday visited the family's business premises citing allegations but added that nothing untoward was found," Kinyanjui said.Kinyanjui said the politician, however, confirmed that a receptionist in the family business had been arrested.

"He said that the hotel receptionist who had been arrested has since been released adding the family will take legal action over the false accusations and embarrassment caused," the blogger added.Komen has since blamed politics on the rumours saying 'enemies were spreading the malicious claims to discredit his character and in a larger plot taint the administration of Lee Kinyanjui.
