A NASA MP has insisted that NASA leader Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka must be sworn in as the people's president.

Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati addressing residents of Bomariba ward at Kasarani shopping center on Friday afternoon said NASA won't succumb to intimidation from the Jubilee government.

"NASA is firm and ready to swear in Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. Jubilee must know we are ready to reclaim our country from the hands of cartels," he said.

The legislator accused Jubilee government of imposing itself on Kenyans.

"Kenyans' will was not respected after they overwhelmingly voted for the opposition during the August 8, 2017, polls but Jubilee decided to steal the victory," he stated.

He challenged locals to support the People's assembly to push the Jubilee government to go home.

"NASA' people assembly is on course. I urge the Gusii community to support in pushing NASA's agenda to ensure Jubilee goes home before 2022," he added.

Arati was on his way from St. Paul's secondary school where he had accompanied education officials from Kisii county to supply free textbooks.
