Musyoka claims the coalition is on its ‘death bed’.

Speaking to journalists at Parliament Buildings on Thursday, Musyoka said NASA will collapse once Kalonzo Musyoka quits the alliance.

He said the former Vice President is on his way out of NASA.

“It is clear and everyone can see that Kalonzo Musyoka is not happy in NASA and it is just a matter of time before he quits,” Musyoka said.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap MP claimed NASA came into existence with an aim of winning the presidential seat in last year’s polls.

“The alliance did not have the interests of Kenyans, what its leaders wanted was power and that is why it will soon be history,” he said.

Musyoka said NASA’s collapse will be a blessing to Raila Odinga whom he said will use the chance to contest in 2022.

The MP asked  Kalonzo to quickly bolt out of the alliance and seek ways of reviving his political career.

Musyoka also warned Kalonzo against being swayed to take an illegal oath that Raila took on January 30.

Kalonzo’s commitment in NASA has been questioned recently especially after he skipped Raila’s swearing in on January 30.

On Tuesday, Kalonzo was quoted saying that Raila’s swearing in was illegal and that he is still consulting to see whether he will be sworn in as the People's Deputy President.

The former Vice President also rubbished media reports that his oath taking had been slated for February 28.

Kalonzo maintains he is still committed to NASA’s electoral reforms agenda even as claims emerge that the coalition  could split in the near future.
