Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo has expressed his disappointment after NASA leader Raila Odinga's swearing-in that had been planned for Tuesday was called off.

Speaking to journalists in Kisauni on Monday, Mbogo said that Mombasa county was ready to host Raila Odinga's  inauguration.He said that plans were complete for the event, adding that majority of Coast NASA MPs are yet to come terms with the last minute cancellation.Mbogo said that residents were feeling excited to host the inauguration that he said would have changed the country's political sphere for good.Mbogo stated that Raila's swearing-in is the only option for the country to have good leadership putting an end to impunity and injustices."We feel disappointed because we were eagerly waiting to show the world that indeed Raila Odinga won the presidential election on August 8 and deserved to be president," he said.Mbogo said that Coast is still loyal to Raila Odinga despite the disappointment, adding that they will work with Raila to ensure the country is liberated.Raila's controversial inauguration that had been scheduled for Tuesday was called off on Sunday on grounds that he could not be sworn-in in absence of his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka who is in Germany attending to his ailing wife.

The swearing-in was postponed to a date to be announced later.

Raila has maintained that he does not recognize Uhuru Kenyatta's as the president claiming that he won the August 8 presidential election.The NASA leader has been quoted saying that Uhuru's government will not complete its five-year term.

President Kenyatta has ruled out having a dialogue with Raila on election issues.
