Despite being backed by Raila Odinga in a mini poll on November last year, Richard Onyonka may have after all joined President Uhuru Kenyatta's camp.
In a shocking press conference, and despite being among top inner circle NASA strategists, Onyonka acknowledged election of Uhuru as Head of State on Tuesday.
"There could be problems that needs to be addressed but we must admit the fact that Uhuru was legally elected as President," he said.
During the mini poll, Odinga made a phone call to Moses Wetangula where he requested residents to support the Ford Kenya candidate and the expense of ODM candidate.
And with residents accusing Onyonka of foul play, the third term MP insists that he does not support the planned inauguration of Odinga.
"Sometimes we have to be realistic. This is the time to work with the president for the sake of our people."
It is not the first time Onyonka is shifting political stand given that he had temporary joined Jubilee before making a U-turn last year.
