Muthama said NASA’s resolve for electoral justice is beyond individuals.

He said the push for reforms is with Kenyans and not individual politicians now.

Muthama   warned that the country risks slipping into dictatorship if NASA’s reforms agenda hits a snag.

“We are not going to allow the push for reforms agenda to collapse even if there are differences and suspicions among our top NASA leaders,” he  told journalists in Kangundo Town on Thursday.

Muthama assured Kenyans and NASA supporters that the push for reforms and electoral justice will not be abandoned.

The former senator said the reforms will go on whether Kalonzo is sworn in or not.

While exuding confidence that the former Vice President will take oath, Muthama called for unity among top NASA leaders.

He said it will be betrayal to supporters and Kenyans if NASA principals walk separate ways.

Kalonzo has been non-committal on taking oath as the People’s Deputy President.

The former Vice President who skipped Raila’s January 30, inauguration has been sending mixed signals in regards to his being won in.

On Tuesday, Kalonzo was quoted saying that Raila’s January 30 swearing in was illegal but they were in talks to see whether he would take the oath.

Kalonzo’s alleged non-committal to being sworn in has caused confusion in NASA with claims that the coalition could soon collapse.
