While speaking in his constituency on Monday, Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi lectured the DP asking him to come clean on his role during the 2007 post election violence in Rift Valley that claimed several lives. Further the vocal lawmaker asked the DP to clean his name over alleged corrupt deals that haunt his political career.

According to the first time MP, should the DP fail to address the two issues, his Presidential ambition is doomed to fail.

"We are not interested iF Ruto becomes President or not. But I want to tell him that two things will stop him from becoming President. The issues that happened in 2007 election where some people were banned in church, in Kiambaa. Unless that issue is resolved, he will not become President of Kenya," said Atandi.

"Another reason why he will not become President is that Kenya is now ready to embrace a democratic leader, not a man who claims that he is a hustler yet he has amassed wealth which he cannot explain where he has gotten it from," added the lawmaker.
