fiery ODM National Treasurer Timothy Bosire has emulated his party boss Raila Odinga and called for a truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In unlikely turnout of events, Raila and Uhuru held a joint press conference last week and vowed to work together.

And the cornered treasurer said: "We must develop and maintain capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of power to forgive is devoid of power to love."

The EX-Kitutu Masaba MP added: "If coming together will help our country move forward, so be it. I have no issues with our party's decision to work with Uhuru."

For years in his first term that came into unprecedented end in 2017, Bosire was a persistent critic of Jubilee administration.

Sometimes in 2015 when Uhuru addressed parliament, Bosire defied the president's order to stand in honour of Kenyan soldiers who had perished in Somalia.

While Bosire lost to Jubilee's Shadrack Mose, he has often maintained that the Jubilee government rigged him due to his political stand.
