According to Kibwana who also doubles as the Wiper Party chairman, Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya's counterpart Moses Wetangula are capable of leading the opposition outfit without Raila’s support.

“Kalonzo, Mudavadi, and Wetangula should be ready to take the leadership role in the opposition because Raila agreed to work with Jubilee Party when he met President Uhuru Kenyatta to shake hands,” Kibwana said.

Kibwana who helped Kalonzo to negotiate with Raila during the last year’s poll said the future of NASA is hanging on the balance following Raila's dalliance with the ruling Jubilee party.

“Despite the fact that the handshake between Raila and Uhuru has brought down political tension in this country, Kalonzo, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula should define their political future without taking into consideration the 2017 polls,” he said.

Kibwana called on Kalonzo to reach out to other leaders across the country to form coalitions with other voting blocs and initiate negotiations with all national leaders including President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
