Siaya Senator James Orengo has explain why President Uhuru Kenyatta should be charged with treason.
Speaking on Sunday, Orengo said that everybody in government should face treason charges which attract the penalty of death.
The Siaya Senator claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta ‘stole’ his way to State House.
He was speaking during a consultative forum on the People's Assembly at Sun N Sand Beach Hotel in Kikambala, Kilifi county.
He further maintained that Mr Kenyatta was not the rightful president of Kenya.
"He only got less than 25 percent of the votes cast on October 26. This means he does not meet the threshold to be Kenya's president.
Mr Orengo told National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to stay on course for State House urging him not to pay attention to naysayers who were determined to make his dream of making Kenya better fail.
"Like the story in the bible, do not look back lest you turn into stone," he noted.
