Orengo has denied the claims that he refused to represent Keter in court due to his links with NASA.

The Senator stated that he stands for defending human rights and has no friend or enemies when it comes to legal matters.

"In defending human rights and liberty I have no friend or foe but to do justice," Orengo tweeted on Monday.

Early Monday, reports emerged that Orengo's office had declined to offer Keter legal assistance.

The reports indicated that Keter was referred to SenatorsKipchumba Murkomen and Senator Kithure Kindiki.

Keter was on Monday charged at the Milimani Law Courts alongside Arthur Sakwa and Madat Chatur, to answer to 11 counts of forgery and conspiracy to defraud

The three were arrested on Friday for allegedly presenting fake treasury bills at the Central Bank of Kenya.
