There was drama at a local church in Cheptiret on the outskirts of Eldoret town on Wednesday after a pastor was caught pants down with a primary school girl at the church offices.
This was shortly after a prayer and worship session that the church usually has every morning from 8 to 10. The church members said the girl had gone to clean the pastor's office like she always does on Sundays and Wednesdays after the services. "Most of the young girls usually do the cleaning of the church including the pastor's office after every service," one of the church members who identified herself as Joyce Mbugu said. Half an hour later after the girl had gone into the office, one of the ushers went and knocked on the door but apparently, the pastor was not responding. That is when he pushed the door and found the pastor redhanded. The church members heckled at him as he was coming out of his office alongside the young girl who later on revealed that the pastor has actually been sleeping with the young ladies at the church for quite some time."Every time we go to clean his office he usually tells us to remove our clothes then he does it. He threatens us that if we tell anyone he will throw us out of the church," the young girl narrated. Amidst the chaos and embarrassment, the pastor who was identified as James Kiplagat somehow found his way into the car and speedily drove off.
