A NASA politician in Kisii County has faulted Kisii governor James Ongwae for lying to NASA leader that Kisii residents are solidly behind the opposition leader.
Lillian Marwa who unsuccessfully vied for Kisii County women rep seat during last year’s polls on ANC party speaking in Kisii town on Monday said Kisii residents lost hope and trust in Raila after he publicly declared to work with the Jubilee government.
“Ongwae is a liar cheating Raila in broad daylight that Kisii locals are still supporting him. What I know is we are dissatisfied with Raila’s decision to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta yet Raila had said that he won’t work with the corrupt regime. Ongwae should tell Raila the truth because most of the Kisii locals have ditched NASA,” she said.
Mrs Marwa blamed Raila for sideling other NASA co-principals when making crucial decisions in the opposition outfit.
“If NASA breaks Raila is to blame because he has not been involving other NASA leaders, Kalonzo, Musalia and Wetangula in making important decisions in the opposition collation,” she added.
She called on more women to come out in 2022 to vie for elective posts such as MP, MCA and senator seat in Kisii County.
“I wish to challenge women to come out and compete with men in 2022 because in Kisii we don’t have an elected MP. It is time for women to show that we have the potential in leadership,” said Mrs Marwa.
