Dena who is the current State House Deputy Spokesman and Deputy Head of Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU), appeared for the first time for her official duty in a dark blue suit.

"Great inaugural briefing this morning by my new deputy spokesperson," tweeted President Uhuru.

Unlike State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu who uses English when addressing the media, Kanze Dena spoke in eloquent Swahili, which most people found amazing.

She gave updates on various things which includes: President Uhuru Kenyatta’s diary for the rest of the week.

Kanze further revealed that President Kenyatta will be in Kajiado to investigate the progress of the second phase of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).

She also reminded Kenyans that government’s war on corruption is still ongoing. The Big Four Agenda is still ongoing and Kenyans will be updated on every progress.
