NASA leader Raila Odinga's portrait at the background in a photo where United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador singer Suzanne Owiyo met Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang Nyong'o, December 5, 2017. [Photo|Anyang Nyong'o]In February 2016, Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga asked his counterparts in 24 counties controlled by the Opposition to see to it that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s portraits are replaced with those of opposition leader Raila Odinga.Rasanga said the call was relevant since Odinga remained a symbol of good leadership who must be respected. He had said a principal secretary visited his office and found only his portrait and that of Odinga. The matter went viral on social media and other news outlets.A year later, the same is being witnessed in Kisumu, a county that fully supports Odinga.Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o's office has Raila's portrait and not President Kenyatta's.Normally, government offices and other public offices and business rooms usually have president portraits. The public noticed the portrait in Nyong'o's office, following a meeting between United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador singer Suzanne Owiyo and Nyong'o, on December 5, 2017.The two posed for a photo, which later displayed the background which showed Raila's portrait in the office. The photo went viral on social media but did not amuse opposition's NASA supporters.
