Veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga on Friday made a passionate appeal to self-styled National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna.

Mr Odinga wants the controversial lawyer and socio-political commentator to go to Ottawa to go and get papers and the Kenyan High Commission in the Canadian capital, Ottawa

''I would like to appeal to Miguna to go to get the papers at the high commission in Ottawa properly and come back to Kenya,'' Raila Odinga said.

Mr Odinga spoke to Kenyans living in the U.K in an auditorium where they had gathered to hear him speak.

Raila was involved in efforts at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airpot (JKIA) to have Miguna allowed into the country, efforts that came to naught.
