Former Kisii county Senator Chris Obure has now told NASA leader Raila Odinga to forget Gusii support ahead of his swearing-in plans set for December 12th.

According to Obure Raila's move is based on self-interest and he should accept that Kenya has a legitimate president and should strategies how he can be on the ballot come 2022 and face William Ruto.

Speaking on Sunday at Gesusu the former Raila ally said Jubilee leaders from the region are working hard to ensure that they block people's assembly motion that is set to be tabled in both Nyamira and Kisii counties.

"I was Raila's close friend and when I say he has no plans for Kenyans I mean it as Jubilee leaders from Gusii won't allow any motion to be passed as we will rally the MCA's against it," said Obure.

Obure urged the MCA's from both counties to know the effects of people's assembly to the locals before making a decision that will affect development.

The former senator has been rallying leaders from the area to ditch NASA for Jubilee.

Raila depends on Kisii and Nyamira counties respectively to pass people's assembly motion that will see him sworn in come December 12th.
