Aliou Cissé, the Senegalese football coach, was born on March 24, 1976. He is a former player of the team and had previously played for the English Premier League clubs, Birmingham City and later, Portsmouth.

However, it is not the rich football records he has under his belly that are making him popular among the residents during this World Cup season but his hairstyle popularly known as 'Rastafarians' that has lit up social media.

Through a popular Facebook group among Kiambu residents, they have given funny reactions after they spotted the 'Rasta' coach in Russia.

"King Rasta...man of the match, hapo Rasta naona umefanya kazi unlike those other African teams wasting their resources in Russia," Victor said.

"Non-imported Rasta!si kaa hizo teams zingine wako na wazungu coaches...congrats Senegal!” said Millicent.

"Ehee... I thought it was Russia 2018 World Cup not Russia 2018 Rastas...anyway good work Rastaman," Alice noted.

"Rasta 2018, say hi to Mane and pliz (sic) shave your hair to normal..," added Kimani.

Some congratulated the coach for becoming the first African coach to win in the ongoing World Cup.

"Keep up Rasta, Senegal should bring that trophy to African... good start waiting for more," remarked Wachira.

"Rasta you have made Africa proud..good work bro," said Njoroge. Senegal eventually won the match two goals against one after an impressive debut in the 2018 World Cup held in Russia.
