The three NASA principals, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Musalia Mudavadi held a crisis-talks meeting yesterday at the Karen County Club.Top of the agenda was the issue of parliamentary committees which saw Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka raise his concerns, insisting that his party be given an extra seat.According to individuals privy to the delicate talks, Kalonzo tied his endorsement to Raila Odinga the 'correction' of ODM's dominance in parliamentary slots.That is the issue that triggered the postponement of the meeting without any conclusive understanding reached.Unconfirmed reports indicate that Wiper wanted one of its members to be given the Minority Chief Whip, a position currently held by ODM's Junet Mohammed, Suna East MP.
