Senate speaker Keneth Lusaka has revealed that Jubilee legislators supported Kennedy Musyoka’s EALA candidature 100%.

Speaking on Saturday, Lusaka said that Jubilee’s support for Musyoka meant that the ruling party was willing to work with everybody across the political divide.

The former Bungoma governor said that Jubilee supported Musyoka since they believe he will deliver while at EALA.

"We are very sure he will deliver. Jubilee leaders supported him 100 per cent, showing that we are one thing and politics is over," he said on Saturday.

Kennedy who is Kalonzo Musyoka's son is among NASA's representatives to the East African Legislative Assembly.

He was elected with 309 votes alongside Oburu Oginga (243), Abdikadir Aden (234), and Fatuma Ibrahim (143).

Jubilee, on the other hand, backed Simon Mbugua (286 ), Florence Jematia (252), Mpuru Aburi (208), Wanjiku Muhia (180), and Adan Noor (192).

They will be sworn in on Monday in Arusha.
