Miranga primary head teacher Dismas Ogeto said the number of pupils who have joined the school in class one and two is higher than the number of tablets the school was given.

"In class two only, we have admitted over 80 pupils and we only have 37 tablets. This number is too high to be served with the tablets the government gave us. We are requesting education officials in the county to help us get more tablets to ease the work of teachers who will be teaching the kids using the gadgets," he said.

He attributed the increased number of kids enrolling in the school to the good performance the school has been recording in the last three years since he joined the school.

"Several parents have been transferring their kids from private schools to the school due to the good performance our school has been recording in KCPE exams," he noted.
