A man shocked people when he wore his wife’s clothes and walked in broad day light.
The incident happened on Thursday at Siamanyi, Bonyamatuta in Nyamira County.
Residents said the man identified as Stephen arrived at home and asked his wife to give him her bra and skirt to wear.
“I heard him calling his wife who had gone to fetch water from a water spring. The wife arrived home and did what the man instructed her to do. The man then wore the clothes and walked out of the homestead in his wife’s cloths,” said Elijah Motari, a neighbor.
Motari said pupils who were returning home from school started laughing at the man on the road.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Charles Mogeni said the man is a notorious bhang smoker and he might have smoked the substance when he wore the cloths.
“Stephen is a bhang addict. He has been smoking the substance for the last 10 years. It seems he has smoked to a climax leading him to wear funny clothes in the village,” he said.
Mogeni warned members of the public against smoking bhang saying anyone smoking bhang is likely to be mad.
