Residents of Bogusero village, Kitutu Chache South constituency were left in a rude shock after a young man raped his son.
The villager said the woman is a drunkard and she was on her way home when the incident happened.
"Her son did it in a maize plantation and when we heard the woman wailing we rushed there and found her crying," said Banjamin Mirera, a local.
Another local, Mary Moraa said that she was on her way from the market when she heard the lady screaming.
"I was shocked to find that it was a son who was raping her own mother," she said.
She immediately started wailing as she asked people to get hold of the man who had started running away from him.
Residents now say that they will not allow the man to live in the village.
“We are not going to allow such criminals to continue staying in this village. How can he rape his own mother? It is a curse and we will not allow him to come back to this village,” said one of the angry residents.
