Wajir County Women Representative Fatuma Ghedi has sensationally claimed that Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki disrespected Members of Parliament when paid her a courtesy call.
According to the vocal legislator, the embattled Health Cabinet Secretary asked the visiting MPs to put away their mobile phones.
''When Members of Parliament go to her office, she tells them to put aside their phones. A mere CS who we vetted! She is disrespecting Members of Parliament,'' a seething Hon. Gedi said.
She spoke today (Wednesday) on a live television programme in a panel discussion.
Her strong words come in the wake of great public debate and controversy on the crisis at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
Hon. Fatuma Gedi has been amongst MPs who have been calling for the ouster of CS Sicily Kariuki after she sent KNH's CEO Lily Koros.
