Dagoretti MP Simba Arati has claimed that Interior CS Fed Matiang’i is good at harassing NASA politicians opposing the government but poor in arresting corrupt government officials.
The vocal MP speaking, in Bobasi area on Thursday, said Matiang’i should use the same security officers he uses to arrest NASA politicians to arrest the government officers engaging in corruption.
“The law is clear that corruption is illegal and punishable by law but it is unfortunate that Matiang’i is not sending the police officers to arrest officials who have stolen NYS money. Let him send the officers o arrest the criminals,” he said.
Arati said corruption is looming in the Matiang’i’s interior ministry and called on President Uhuru to stop being too lenient on the officers stealing public money.
“Uhuru should be careful because the corrupt dealings in this country are on the rise. Corrupt government officers should be sacked, arrested and prosecuted,” he added.
