Relating to the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal of close to 10billion shillings, the legislator suggested that several schools could be put up in the country with such amounts of money.

He said just a billion shillings could be used to put up to twenty new day secondary schools in Nairobi to facilitate learning and around 60 million for one school.

Taking to his Twitter account, he advised the president to set a positive legacy, stop the massive looting of public resources and give the youth hope and opportunity.

"One billion shillings can build up twenty new day secondary schools in Nairobi. Sixty million can build and furnish one school. President @UKenyatta please create a positive legacy. Stop the looting; give our youth hope and opportunity," he said.

Reports after the final day of investigations revealed that suspects who were involved in the scandal received millions of money from the institution but they could not remember what they had supplied it with.
