Oliver Odera, a third-year student, had gone to purchase a trouser from the hawker’s stall when the drama happened.

The two started negotiating the trouser's price but something strange happened in the process.

The seller offered to give away the trouser worth Sh1, 500 for free if the student accepted to join his club.

“He said I could take the trouser for free if I joined his club. He also said he had recruited some other students. He tried to convince me but I insisted that I was going to pay for the trouser at whatever price,” said Oliver.

However, the student was angered following the seller’s persistence that he wanted to have an affair with him.

Following this, the student lined up with his friends at the college where they threatened the man to stop his behavior.

According to them, he has been trying to lure students into gaysim for a number of times.

The hawker denied the claims and noted that he was just joking. He said that he had a wife and children at his home and had never developed feelings for fellow men.
