A youth who stabbed another to death during a brawl over Sh50 has gone into hiding.
Nakuru police have as a result launched a manhunt for him over the last Sunday incident that occurred at Flamingo estate in Nakuru town.
The form three student who died as a result of knife injuries, was identified as Kevin Mwangi.
The Harambee Khalsa secondary school student died on arrival at the Rift Valley Provincial hospital.
A police source told our reporter that the late Mwangi had reportedly intervened to settle a quarrel when one of the two fighting colleagues turned against him and stabbed him.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the missing youth to furnish them with the details even as they recorded statements yesterday and today from potential witnesses.
They said after the suspect resurfaces and has been questioned, the course of the investigations will determine what course of action will be taken.
