A teacher in Nyansiongo has been left distraught after his loving wife left him for a boda-boda operator in the area.
The man, who teaches a local school, is still coming to terms with the incident after his wife of 16 years left him.
Area locals have also been left wondering how the 38-year-old woman could leave his home for 16 years and be married by a 24-year-old bodaboda operator.
The two have a family with children, with the firstborn in form four.
The man is said to have taken the wife to Bondo Teachers College, where she attained a certificate as a teacher.
She then went on to get a job as a teacher with TSC and posted to a school in Nyamataro.
The man then got wind of her relationship with the boda-boda guy, and on asking her, the lady packed her belongings and left to the young man’s home.
The man is now left alone, with the schools having opened last week, meaning his children are all in school.
He says there is no one to talk to, no one to cook and take care of house chores for him.
