This is said to have taken place in 2002 when he failed to support Ford-People leader Simeon Nyachae who was seeking presidency and instead opted to support former President Mwai Kibaki.

In a revelation published in Nyachae's autobiography "Walking through the corridors of service" he speaks more of his connection with former President Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Moi and Mr Odinga.

It further highlights the veteran politician's lost dreams especially when he failed to clinch the presidency.

He fully blames Mr Odinga saying that if he had agreed to back his bid then he could have easily won the race.

He recalls how Mr Odinga caught him unaware with his famous 'Kibaki tosha' declaration at Uhuru park moments after signing a deal with him in the run up to the 2002 General Elections.

The memorandum of understanding is said to have been brokered by former Kisumu Town MP Joab Omino.
