The expectation of all was that Raila would stay in the country to marshall his troops to challenge Uhuru's 'acquital' by Judge Maraga. People are asking: What is Raila up to in Zanzibar? Why go to Zanzibar? Whom has he met in Zanzibar? For what reasons have they met?Whatever Raila is doing in Zanzibar is definitely not a fishing expedition. Neither has he gone there to visit his grandmother from the other mother!Those who know Raila understand that he is a master strategist. I will bet with my soul that the Zanzibari trip has everything to do with N.R.M activities. Perhaps baba has gone to consult the babu who helped Kinjeketile Ng'wale to ferment the Maji Maji rebellion in Tanganyika. As it stands, it is a wait-and-see game as we await for baba's grand reception at Isebania border any time soon.
We should prepare for baba's major announcement as he comes back. Who knows? He may even bring goodies from President John Pombe Magufuli, he that has ordered all mothers out of the classrooms!
