Kenya Premier League side Thika United could miss out on the services of their talismanic striker Onwudi Chebueze following reports that the Nigerian national is attending to trials with an unnamed team out of the country.Chibueze was instrumental for the milkmen in their quest to remain in the Kenyan topflight league after he helped the team beat Ushuru in the Kenya Premier League playoffs. However, that could soon remain to be nostalgic memories after head coach Nicholas Muyoti confirmed that the striker could be on his way out of the club."Yes, we might be without him (Chibueze) for next season. He was one of our key players last season and scored important goals. He is currently on trials outside the country and there is a high probability that he might not be with us next season. We have to get his replacement as soon as possible," said Muyoti on Monday. The former Kenyan international also lamented the loss of his other crucial players Suleiman Ngotho and Wilson Anekeya who moved to Posta Rangers and Kakamega Homeboyz respectively.Thika United had a torrid 2017 campaign that saw them finish among the bottom three teams although they were lucky to avoid direct relegation. Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Kiambu that you want Hivisasa to cover?
